Im still a little undecided which character race and profession I will choose. But Ive been playing JKII (outcast) for ages now (too long!) so I think I will train as a fencer or swordsman. It might even help when I eventually get that lightsaber for christmas.. On the otherhand, being the BotD founder carries a few responsibilities, so I was thinking of developing 'tailoring' skills so that I can make a damn cool rebel uniform for all BotD members, and make a little extra money for the PA. In terms of race my first thought is to be human, because Luke is my ultimate SW role model. Zabrak's would make great warriors, as would trandoshan, but right now Im sticking with human. what about you guys? tael.

Thanks Master11, and welcome to the Boards.
I think the aspect of SWG that I find so exciting is that there are so many professions to choose from and every character will have a unique combination of skills and attributes.
Its especially good in a PA because we can draw on the strengths of each other.

I'm personally planing on first trying to mount the commando ranks and eventually move on to Jedi but as we all know that could take a while. In all honesty we should really start stepping up on recruting we need more troops and a well rounded support crew.

Yeah, we will move into heavy recruitment mode once the web site is ready (It doesnt have to be 100%, but needs to be "fully operational" - like the Death Star in ROTJ!).

i am a twi'lek, and i will probably go for bounty-hunter or commando. or i might become ambassador if the PA needs one at that time. and I am definatly going to try to unlock my FS slot and train it.
Darkliner: noone can say he will move on to jedi because less then 0.000001% of all SW:G will have the chance to become a jedi.

An ambassador and a commando! that's what they call 'aggressive negotiations!' It's my dream to be a jedi as well. I have a hope that at least one of us will get there, but yes, it will be very rare indeed. tael.

well i don't think it will be possible to become both ambassador and commando at the same time, but i will try to combinate those skills, either that or my character will be an assassin type, focussing on the bounty-hunter profession.

It's a good sign that we have a bit of a mix even amongst us.
I think it will be very important to generate income for the PA so that we can buy the best equipment for our military and build a community.
Does anyone have any info about the farming profession?
It's my crazy theory that farmers might be more likely to become force sensitive - after all, Luke was a farmer!

this is going to be one of the best summers I've had in a long time. Chilling with all of my SWG bras ("yes it is lame but I'm a surfer from calie so what gives") blasting imps and the ocasional bounty hunter . Personally I'm going for a commando or marks man after all we do need a crack shot don't we. One other question Should I start going to other rebel PAs an see if we can create an alliance with them. Also start talking to some of your freinds at home and see if they will join us.
