Vigow Milla
Male Zabrak
As of now I'm sort of undecided on a profession. There are just so many to choose from. Currently I'm involved in Beta 3, playing the above character as a Carbineer with some Scout, Medic, Artisan, and Brawler thrown in.
The possibilities are truly endless in this game!
Anyway I'm really looking forward to getting to know all of you, and I'm sure we will have a great time in SWG.

Hiya Vigow and Welcome to the Bringers of the Dawn!!
We have a couple of other zabraks on staff - maybe you should get together with them and work out what tatoo designs you are going to get!
Can you tell us a bit more about the carabineer profession?
Regards, tael.

Hey Tylas,
Beta is going very well. As I'm sure you all know the NDA has not been lifted at this time so I can't get into specifics, but the Dev's are working very hard (7 days a week) to get this game out this summer. We've been getting alot of HUGE patches lately, and with every patch there are many fixes and more content is added.
In answer to your second question, YES! SWG is going to be awesome! The landscapes and cities are fantastic. The character creation and UI are very easy to use. The hunting on Endor, Tatooine and Lok is unbelievable. I know there are some issues with balancing right now with the player economy, but those will be resolved before the game is released.
I don't know if any of you have ever had to troubleshoot equipment or software systems before, but basically the way it is done is you adjust the system one way, get feedback and if necessary adjust the other way. That is the phase the player economy is in right now. This balancing phase shouldn't really take too long.
I feel the combat systems work very well. I've never played a MMORPG before, strictly FPS and space combats sims (JK2, X-Wing series), but I find the combat in SWG to be very exciting. You don't need to be "twitchy" to play it, which is a welcome change for me. The PvP aspect to me is very exciting. The other night two Imp PC's arrived in Coronet City, Corellia and started taking out overt Rebel artisans and entertainers. Basically trying to get easy kills. I gotta tell you, it felt great taking them out.
I think that you all will very happy with SWG when it is released. True at release it won't have vehicles or space ships, but you still get to play a part in the saga. Whether you're an entertainer healing the battle fatigue of weary combatants, or an artisan equiping your fellow Rebels with the items they need to defeat the Empire. Whether you're a medic healing troops in the med center or out in the field, or a scout exploring the vast worlds and providing resources to your fellow players. Or you can go strictly combat as a ranged weapon specialist or brawler.
The possibilities are truly endless, and I think that once you all are in the game you will see this as well.
Until then, continue to come up with ideas to help our PA and bring about the destruction of the Galactic Empire.
