I think Tatooine is the place to go. It's got tons of resources for the crafters, is an interstellar "hub" for the traders, and has a Sand People fort for training the warriors. Of course, because of all those virtues, it might become overpopulated, so we will probably need to stake our claim on as much land as possible as soon as possible.

Do we really want to live that deep in enemy territory? I mean if that's the planet where the Emperor's "stunning retreat" is located, what are the chances that it will have any Rebel presence at all? Would we be able to get any missions or talk to Rebel recruiters? With the number of overt rebels in the guild, I can't imagine living anywhere with such a stong Imperial presence would be a good choice, at least until we have several skilled warriors in the guild. I mean, could we even go in a city without getting smothered by guards and such? Maybe I don't have the right idea about SWG factions, but it sounds like a bunch of High Elves trying to move into an Ogre city to me. I would say we should live in a place that is at worst neutral, and we'll probably do best in a place with a strong Rebel leaning. Corellia might be the best choice with this logic, and it probably won't be as congested as Tatooine.

Corellia has almost the oppisite problem, not enough of an imperial presence.
I also have a feeling that Corellia and Tatooine are going to be extremely populated, which is good and bad.
I'm not to sure how the game is going to put restrictions on building, but they do have to worry about continuity with the movies and books that come after the time when the game takes place.
I like Rori the best, it's got almost everything we need, the only thing I see it lacking is a "theme park" but if we really want to go, we can grab a shuttle to Naboo. It's got to be pretty cheap because Rori is Naboo's moon.
That's just my 2 cents. -Janel-

Yeah Janel, I agree that Rori would be a better choice than Naboo. that's why I've been emphasizing that Rori has a Rebel outpost with a star port. From there we can hop a shuttle to Naboo for 500 credits.
I really don't think that it would be in the best interest of the PA to have it's home on Naboo. As you stated the Imperial presence is just too high. With only 30 some odd members at this point, our forces are not strong enough to compete with the numbers of Imperials that will be there.
I know it sounds like 30 members is quite a few, but with all of us playing at different times I really think the most we will have on at once will be half that.
Just my opinion, but I hope it does make some of you reconsider your vote for Naboo.

Initially I wanted to be a farmer and start on tatooine (now where did I get that idea??!), but if we are starting on flurry it is going to get pretty jammed there. Janel and Vigow have sold me on Rori as long as we can coordintate our members to hop a shuttle run together and do some damage down on Naboo, and maybe save a princess or two Plus if it turns out the majority don't like Rori, we can always consider starting afresh on Sunrunner with a different planet. tael.

I think we should go to Rori as Tatooine will just be too over crowded. Naboo's imperial presence is too much for 30 people as Vigow said.

Good point Tael, when we make the change to Sunrunner we can always choose a different starting planet if we don't like the one we pick for Flurry.
