I've been a starwars fan since a kid when I walked in and saw Return of the Jedi in the theater.
Darth Vader was sooooo scary.
Give me a break I was 5.

Same here it's just 2 things I never saw ROTJ in theaters because I missed the special edition when it came back and well I wasn't born yet for the original release

A while ago long bus rides and a large stack of EU material conspired to make me a hopeless case.
I didn't catch the original series at all but did manage to catch the special editions.

I loved the original trilogy but didnt care for the special edition. Lucas made too much care into the originals to mess it up in the special edition... Greedo incident crappy Jabba fx, etc. Drunkbo

Episode 1 and 2, both kinda let me down. Probabbly because I had such high expectations.
Also they didn't have the same feel as the original trilogy. I liked that the originals went back and forth showing both sides of the battle between the Empire and Rebels. The first two movies, especially the first focused almost entirely on the good guys and didn't show much of the bad guys.
But it's still star wars, so they all rank pretty high on my favorite movies scale.
