we should have a strategist as well as a hunting leader, I have an idea for our signature tactic Tactic Dawn Enemy gun troops etc. Enemy Melee combatants Our melee combatants Our gun troops etc. all melee combatants take out the longest range melee weapons they have and keep enemy as far from themselves as possible. then our gun troops all whip out missle launchers and turn all the melee enemies into ash. then our gun troops keep the enemy pinned down with all the laser fire we've got(now gun men have heavy repeaters and keep the enemies at prone melee fighters run up and kill enemy gun troops. or if the their is no friendly fire same tactic but use the shortest range sword or polearm or whatever. as for animals just keep them back with lots of fire while our melee fighters run in then we get the heavy weaponry out and turn the animal into roast whatever.

mmmmm roast....thats making me hungry Yeah, I agree we should have some gun groups etc. As for the hunting party ..the safari leader will change to let everyone have a go. For each trip out, the safari leader will coordinate the tactics for bringing the beast down. Its good training for when we start to pick on the Imperials. tael.

the tactic will work best at night so the gun troops climb up the side of the whatever and let our melee troops get hit hard and then make the battle suddenly become a fight in daylight. This might work best against NPCs or better against people but it will only work against people once unless we make it harder for them to guess which tactic we're using. as for the melee combatants all they need to do is charge and try to make it to the enemy gun troops but stay in range of the missles because I found out the damage is smart(yes). This will work best in a ravine and should drive whole heards of animals we want to hunt into a ravine. we'll have half the melee combatants charge in and spook the animals into the ravine and have the other half waiting hidden behind rocks in the other end of the ravine then we have gun troops on a high enough point that the animals can't attack them and they will shoot as many animals as quick as possible and the melee troops are there to keep th heard from running then all artisans/cooks/whatever come out and take all the resources from the animals. This goes the same for a rancor or a krayt dragon but the melee troops are bait . As for Tactic Dawn outside the ravines etc. we have the melee troopss forming a stright line behind the gun troops the melee troops are at prone now. the enemy sends either melee troops charging in or they mimic us or they have their gun troops charge or they all charge. If the melee troops charge our gun troops will wipe most out and the remainder will be handled by our melee troops. If they mimic us then we'll ave our melee troops sneak around the back of the us and try to get to the enemy who we'll be trying to keep in prone with all the fire power we're shooting at them and we'll be slowly and advancing while the melee troops are burst running and well probably catch the enemy in prone(with luck) or we catch the enemy fleeing and then we take down as many as we can while they are running. If the gun men charge then we just have our melee troops prepare to jump up and wipe out the gun troops. Our gun troops will be trying to take down as many guntroops we troops as possible if we create a gap in the enemy gun troops then we will have our melee troops fill it or if we don't make a big enough gap then we keep slowly moving back ward and after a certain point of retreating the melee troops jump and charge an we try to keep the enemy gun troops from firing on the melee troops by us charging in as well and their melee troops by now will be charging at us so we shoot at the weakest point in the enemy gun lines and from there we fill in the gap and pump as much fire power as possible into the enemy melee troops. If all enemies charge we simply have just our melee troops charge and we wipe out as many troops as possible when our melee troops are charging we shoot at gun troops mainly and once our melee troops make it to the enmies who are charging with them we switch to shooting other melee troops because they are the biggest threat rather than some sniper rifle trying to either snipe us or some melee troop three feet away so we just insure the survival of the melee troops by wiping out other melee troops and they insure our survival by attacking the gun troops mainly. In this tactic if either group is destroyed we "Run Away!, Run Away ;D"
