Sorry it took me so long to reply Droider, I was pretty busy Sunday.
I haven't been able to find out an answer for you yet. I'll get back on in the morning and hopefully get an answer for you. I haven't seen any real combat droids, just probe and fugitive trackers, along with the MSE-6 mouse droids. I also looked at the online skill tree, but that didn't give much info, other than the armor upgrades.
I'll get you some info tomorrow. Well, later this morning

I know there are at least the "Fugitive Tracker" Droids that are combat capable. I found a Master Droid Engineer willing to field questions on swgcraft.com. So maybe I'll find out some information from there.

i have a question i kind of havent been folowing skill trees that much so im a little bit stupid in that area but bere with me so i heard u guys talking about npc trainers and how you have to talk to them and pay them to get skillz is this the only way to get skillz? because thatd suck if you had to go alll the way back to the city to "upgrade" ur char ohh and also are there any at/st like pets that a rebel can get?

I'll answer your second question first. No, there are no at-st like pets for the rebels.
Second, players can train other players in skills other than the novice and master blocks. One thing that I recommend is that you tip player characters that train you, just 10% of what the NPC would charge.
Here's why. Novice block of a basic skill is 100 credits, no big deal. The first teir of blocks after that is 1000 credits, second teir is 2000, and so on. All of us will have to pay NPC's sometimes, but when we receive training from our PA members we should tip at least a little to help compensate them for their training, and so they can visit the NPC again and be able to teach us the new skill.
Just an idea, but I think that it would help us all in the long run.

Are there any kind of pets for the rebel alliance that you can get other than droids and animals?
Also it's cool to tip PC dancers and doctors that fix you up.

There are pets for Rebels, but I believe you have to be Overt to get them. They are Rebel troopers and spec-force marines. There might be more, but those are the only ones I've seen.
And yes I encourage everyone to tip entertainers and medics. If we want them in the cantinas and med centers when we need them, then we need to tip them so they don't have to run missions to make money.
